The ACC (architectural control committee) is responsible for maintaining the standards of the subdivision. This ensures that our subdivision is one of the best in Douglasville.
Here are some reminders:
Home Exterior:
📷 Any exterior work done on your lot, needs to be approved by the acc. The form is located on this website. You can email the completed form to: acc@elkrunhoa.net for approval or drop it off at the office.
Trash Cans:
📷 Trash can visibility: the ACC has deemed that all trash cans should be stored where they are not visible from the street.
For example: in front of garage doors or on the side of your home.
Vehicles:
📷 No parked vehicles on the street overnight
📷 No non-moveable/unregistered vehicles/trailers parked in driveway
📷 No commercial vehicles parked in driveways
Solid doors and metal railing on steps:
📷 These are not in unison with the community architect design. You may still submit a request using the acc form. The request will be kept on file. All ACC regulations and rules will be enforced. Please refer to your covenants, article ii, architectural control committee, section 1 (a) and (b).
**Warning notices document ACC violations, leading to fines if they persist. **
Lawns:
📷 Need to be maintained. Please refer to the design and maintenance standards, appendix b.
Terrain Vehicles:
📷 It is unlawful to ride terrain vehicles within the subdivision. You will be fined for riding these within the subdivision. We ask the neighbors to contact the sheriff department directly. Please refer to Section 11-77 of the Douglas County, GA Code of Ordinances.
Please note: The community office has a power washer available to lease for members.
The Elk Run Community has covenants and maintenance standards that must be adhered to by all homeowners to sustain the appeal of our community. The ACC checks for Home, Yard, and Vehicle adherence monthly.
